The performance <Magic Loop> introduces Sehikyo's major artistic practice, ‘clothes making’. Sehikyo's clothes start from finding materials in the second-hand market, and the characteristics and traces of use of these materials—staining, ripping, and loosening—are an important indicator of the manufacturing process, providing an aesthetic clue to the starting point of each work stage. Starting with the production technique determined by the first performer, the five performers are involved in each other's production process, adapting or resisting the inherent properties of the fabric, and selecting the appropriate materials and techniques to improvise. The title "Magic Loop", which is derived from the terminology of the knit production process, is an intuitive metaphor for the process, which describes another process in which five performers dressed in the same way complete a series of T-shirts.
